Why we exist
Every day, stories disappear. A veteran who served in three wars but never talked about it. A grandmother whose childhood memories of another country exist only in her mind. A father whose career spanned decades of change but who never thought his experiences were interesting enough to write down.
These are not famous people. They are our people. And their stories — the real ones, full of detail and emotion and humor and heartbreak — are being lost at a rate we cannot recover from.
KindredLink was built to change that. We use AI to create a patient, caring conversation partner that draws out stories naturally — the way a good friend would over coffee. Every conversation builds a living record: a visual life map, an illustrated storybook, a family tree, and a preserved personality that future generations can connect with.
We believe that every life, no matter how ordinary it may seem, contains a story worth keeping. Our job is to make capturing that story as easy as having a conversation.
Built by a veteran
KindredLink was founded by a U.S. military veteran who saw firsthand how quickly stories vanish when we do not make the effort to preserve them. Comrades with incredible experiences who never shared them. Family elders whose wisdom died with them.
That experience became the driving force behind KindredLink: a platform built with the discipline, mission-focus, and care that military service instills — applied to the deeply human work of keeping stories alive.
